Members of the general assembly of GICAM have voted to Merge with ECAM to create improved opportunities for Small and Medium sized enterprises . This was during the general assembly meeting that took place in Douala on July 11. During the assembly meeting, out of the 329 who voted, 241 voted for while 86 voted against with 2 null votes.
The president of GICAM Celetin Tawamba said the merger has come as a booster for them to work harder for the betterment of SMSes .
He said the terms of the merger will be respected by all.
